I was twelve when I opened Premiere for the first time.

1. AGE 12
   2016

   The first cut

   At twelve I opened Premiere to edit my own YouTube videos, and Photoshop to design them. No courses, no mentor. I just kept going until the craft felt like mine.

2. AGE 13
   2017

   Making it for others

   When I couldn't keep making my own videos, I started designing thumbnails and cutting edits for other YouTubers. Before long it was paying. The hobby had quietly become a job.

3. AGE 13–16
   2017–20

   Four years freelance

   I went independent and spent four years getting better one client at a time, teaching myself everything as I went.

4. AGE 16
   2020

   Lockdown, head down

   The pandemic kept everyone home; I made the time count. Remote ghost designer and editor at an agency, producing for construction and appliance brands, and mostly political campaign videos and designs.

5. AGE 17
   2021

   First local client

   Back at school after lockdown, I took on my first local business, designing and retouching for them directly.

6. AGE 18
   2022

   A café, for a season

   Fresh out of high school and waiting on university results, I ran a café for four months. I learned how a small business actually breathes, day to day.

7. AGE 18
   2022

   Graphic Design, then a pause

   I earned a place in Akdeniz University's Graphic Design program, then paused it for financial reasons and went back to work. Living on my own, I realized I was happier that way.

   The face and the feed

   Managing at a local news and media agency in Denizli, I became the face, the admin and the editor of a page with 140k+ followers.

9. AGE 18 · İSTANBUL
   2022–23

   Two jobs, one craft

   A move to İstanbul: cashier at a bar by day, while I built its whole identity after hours: menus, posters, videos and brand.

10. AGE 19 · NEVI REKLAM

    From designer to operator

    Back in Erzincan, I joined Nevi Reklam as a graphic designer. Within a year I'd grown into professional client relations, CNC and laser cutting, and running and maintaining the print machines.

11. AGE 17→19 · MUSIC
    2021 · 2023

    A label with a conscience

    I started making music in 2021. In 2023 I founded Overtake Recordings, because the scene was full of labels that preyed on artists, and I'd been one of those victims myself. I wanted to be the remedy, so no one else would have to go through it.

12. AGE 20–22 · NOW
    2024–26

    On my own terms

    Today I run Gelen Medya, my own one-person studio, build Genu as founder and product developer, and make music as OzerO under Overtake Recordings. Same instinct as age twelve, just bigger tools.
